Iyengars (also spelt Ayyangar or Aiyengar, pronounced [əjːəŋɡɑːr]) are an ethnoreligious community of Tamil-speaking Hindu Brahmins, whose members follow Sri Vaishnavism and the Visishtadvaita philosophy propounded by Ramanuja.
